Genesis Law Chambers in collaboration with its consultant Food Scientists and Experts of Food Innovators and Technologists invite you to the 6th Annual Barbados Food Law and Industry Conference to be held on August 2 & 3, 2023 at the Accra Beach Spa and Hotel, Hastings, Christ Church, in the beautiful Island of Barbados, West Indies. The theme for the Conference for this year is: “Food Security and Beyond the 21st Century.” Through this theme, the aim of this year’s Conference is to explore/examine the concepts of Nutrition Policy, Food Science & Technology and Food Law & Regulation and their marriage to Food Security. With the advent of the Global COVID-19 Pandemic, food security became a heightened discussion among many stakeholders in the food industry. Since food security is part of the sustainable development goals, BFLI23 seeks to encourage all stakeholders to commit to promoting the four pillars of food security which includes, (1) availability (2) accessibility, (3) utilization and (4) sustainability of food.
